Join Fields of Sinsinawa and Golden Sands Resource Conservation & Development Council, Inc. for a deep dive into the economics of custom grazing with world renowned custom livestock grazier, Steve Kenyon, on August 18th, 9:30am-2:30pm.

Steve Kenyon (right) will present on his work grazing other people’s livestock on over 3,000 acres of leased land in Alberta, Canada. He will be kicking off the event as the keynote speaker at 9:45 am. Other guest speakers include Dr. Dennis Busch, from UW Platteville, who will discuss watershed research underway in the pastures at the Mound, Greg Thoren, a farmer and rancher from Stockton, IL, who will share his experience using Gallagher eShepherd virtual fencing collars, and area farmer and rancher Josh Tranel, who will discuss his family’s experience with rotational grazing and virtual fencing.
Tickets are limited and are on sale now through August 15th here. Tickets include the presentations, a buffet lunch, exhibitor fair, and a pasture walk on the Sinsinawa Mound property where virtual fencing, multi-species grazing, and adaptive management grazing will be highlighted. This event is open to the public.
